Poll #836486 Rename my blog?

In order to make it easier for new people to remember my blog name, what should I rename it? (Don't worry, if you goto jerumi.livejournal.com you will still be re-directed to the new name)

healjer
6(46.2%)
fightcancer
1(7.7%)
fightprostatecancer
0(0.0%)
cancerboy :)
1(7.7%)
keep it as jerumi
5(38.5%)

Any other ideas for a new name?

Great wedding photos Beth and Jeremy. Is the Jake that took the pictures the Jake I know from the National Forest Protection Alliance?
I hope things are going well with the chemo. Keep your spirits up and get plenty of rest. I probably sound like your mother but its good advice. You can also eat all the ice cream or frozen Yogurt you like and you won't get fat! Enjoy life's small pleasures. sunshine, gardens, good music, and above all each other. You will get through this.
I'm had trouble filling out the form for re-naming your blog so I'll put in my two cents here. I like the healjer name. It's what has to happen and what will happen. Fight on brother.
The on line chat rooms I told you about are at the ACOR site. http://www.acor.org/ You can get great info from people who are dealing with what you have. Some of the site managers, patients themselves, have incredible stores of info. They are more expert then the experts. But you should be aware that reading the messages can be overwhelming. There are desperate people out there and I ended up quiting the site because I couldn't take reading their stories anymore. You quickly learn that whatever you are going through, there are others who have it much worse then you do. But if you require advice or just want to learn about your cancer then ACOR can help. I never logged in but that I didn't find out something new about my cancer and its treatment. Take care, both of you. mark

Thanks Mark, I'll check it out. I've also received Patte's e-mail and have mentioned and forwarded it to Beth. She doesn't check e-mail too often but she will get to it. Thanks again for that and for staying in touch.

You mean I'm not the first one to have doubts about my blog name?

So far I've only bought one :)

Okay, I will look for it. Thats a nice gesture, it feels good to know that something about me inspired a poem.

I like healjer because (a) it's your email address; and (b) it's positive...

My vote is healjer

So healjer is definitely my vote, but I have to say (and I'm probably the only one twisted enough to say it) cancerboy just makes me laugh out loud. It's just so wrong that it makes me laugh. Ultimately though, sick humor loses out to the name that best captures what everyone who views this blog prays for... Heal Jer!

Jeremy, I also want to say that even though I haven't posted here before that I read and listen to your blog entries and I think about you often. And I wish you weren't going through any of this. I hope that the vigor that gave you so much strength throughout your life will somehow help to give you that umph that gets you through this "nadir" now.

Lots of love,
Adam
