“(This is a post from my cell phone so it might be a little more difficult to hear.)

I don’t have internet access yet. We’ve moved to our place in San Anselmo which is lovely. It’s close to trails and close to Pine Street clinic, and I’m just loving it here. I have noticed that there have been some responses on the blog and I appreciate everybody’s feedback. I have also received some donations recently from Greenpeace and I want to take a moment and thank everyone again who has done that.

I had chemotherapy yesterday and it was my third cycle of Taxotere. So far, so good. I am not doubled over vomiting and I am not totally laid out but my energy levels are a lot lower than I’d like them to be and so, I have to adapt to that. That affects my mood and what I can do in a day. So I am just trying relax and heal and watch a couple of good TV shows or DVDs actually…what I am watching right now is Battlestar Galactica which I love. (laughter)

Not a lot new other than that.

My mom is leaving next week and that is a big thing because she’s been here so much of the time. I am going to really, really miss her and I am going to miss the immense amount of energy that she has had to help us move and settle in and help take care of billing and food and all of that. It has been a huge contribution, but, it’s time. I think I can deal with a lot of that on my own with help from friends and help from Beth.

That gives her a chance to go back home to Albuquerque, spend time with Tom and their extended family there, so she’s here this week and we’re spending a lot of time together.

That’s about it.
Hopefully, I’ll have DSL by the end of the week and spend a little more time online.
Bye.”
